Unfortunately the rain on the second day made it impossible for me to get drawings from all the people I would have liked to. These were mostly done in the days following Ladies Army over a few beers

Wheels/Hubs/Tyres: Made them myself rims velocity 26″ chuckkers/ hubs velocity 48 flipflop fix/free/ specialized nymbus

Extras? Had Justin make frame disc ready, also has rear brake mounts reversed so cable is not in the way. Frame has S&S couplers for friendly polo travel.

Why did you choose this bike/setup?
I wanted something twitchy and stable. My previous bike did not turn as quick. Also I am a traveler and having the couplers in the long run saves a lot of money. Also I am short and wanted a bike that was polo specific and fit me. So Justin Pogge, who is wonderful to work with and a polo player, and I started talking about what I wanted and taking measurements. Weight was not an issue for me, I just wanted something durable, twitchy but stable, and something that I could have full mallet range all the way around. Also something that did not leave too much of a bottom bracket opening.

How long have you played on this bike for? 6 months

Have you played on anything else?
A number of franken’bikes, one fixed step through with five inch handle bars. Total five inches for stem, lever and hands. That sucker was twitchy but you could go down hard. And an eighth inch scrambler. The scrambler was my most provicent bike prior to the Old Field.

What are the best things about your bike?
It fits me. I can actually say that I feel like it is a part of me when I am on it. I can trust where it is going. It is Green  Components can always be altered, but having a frame that is truly your friend something that is made based on your body is unbeatable.

What are some recent changes you have made to your bike?
I am going to put some shorter handle bars on it and am going to go back to the homemade dual lever, it is a bmx  primo and just give more hand space and is more responsive than the problem solver dual brake lever. Also looking at building another set of wheels for her, thinking about some Velocity NO BS rims. Going to switch my ergo grips from my mtb to my polo.

What are the worst things about your bike? Weight, other than that it is my component schemes.

What would you change? I really wouldn’t change much, I am already shifting around my set up.Well actually I think I would run less distance between drop outs. I have to pinch the chainstay together in order to get my wheel on. However I wanted it that wide so I could franken’bike it with some mtb wheels occasionally :) my sick humor. Justin warned me.

Why did you choose this bike/setup?

Well, I began bike polo in Clermont-Ferrand on a 700C frame. Quickly I met the Victoire Crew during a ride. They were working hard with Greg to get the perfect 700 geometry. For me it was an obvious fact, you MUST ride a 700 frame to play bike polo. So I decided to buy one of the first frame building by Victoire Cycle made in my home town !

How long have you played on this bike for? Have you played on anything else?

I’ve ride two 700C bikes one artisanal aluminium road frame, and after a focale 44 track frame !
I just recieved my new velvet fork. Disk brake is awesome ! I ride my Victoire Cycle  since this summer.

What are the best things about your bike?
Soooooo compact, light, beautiful blue and made just for me !

What are some recent changes you have made to your bike?
Head set, disk fork, new wheel set.

What are the worst things about your bike? What would you change?
Nothing ! I love it ! I can trick as a 26″, and ride faster !

The first female bike polo tournament in berlin, mallet dolorosa was held in april 2013. It was a single player shuffle tournament. There were 42 girls from all over the world.
