Here’s a little story from Christine Carrisosa from Capitol Bike Polo in Sacramento, California.

In October of 2012 Capitol Bike Polo held its first annual tournament – The Battle for California.

The Battle is a bench minor format tournament that welcomed city based teams to Sacramento, the states Capitol, to compete for a trophy and title of being the best in California. Six cities brought teams to represent and San Francisco won the title. Cities that competed last year were San Francisco, Fresno, Davis, Las Vegas, Santa Cruz/San Luis Obispo and Sacramento. Machine, of San Francisco, and his team of Random Bastard Polo Children stole the show. With much respect, The Battle for California 2 has been deemed: Killing Machine.

This year we are going BIGGER AND BETTER. Teams from East Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Arizona, Los Angeles and Santa Cruz have already confirmed and the Midwest is looking to send an all-star alliance. We have secured an amazing location that is sure to strike envy in players from across the world. Bike polo is gaining recognition in the Capitol city and this tournament is sure to seal the deal!

Event dates are September 21st & 22nd so that gives us 4 months to make this the best city based bench minor….EVER!

Teams of 7-10 players from any city can register – more details hereWhat are you waiting for??? Get registered!!!
